I write this on the last day of 2008. This past year has been very trying for most of us. The current economic situation in the United States is daunting to say the least. Let me wish all readers of this blog a very happy and healthy 2009.
2008 was also a frustrating year for me modeling wise. I did not get nearly enough done on the On30 Peterboro Model Railroad. This has proved to be discouraging to me. I had such high hopes for completing the Rock Harbor portion of the railroad. However, time and circumstance interfered with my plans. My last blog described my hope to overcome my modeling inertia by working on the Rock Harbor side of my layout. Unfortunately, whenever I began to plan a work session on that part of the layout something would prevent my doing so. The end result is that I am ending 2008 without having accomplished even a small portion of what I had planned.
So I hope to start 2009 on a brighter note. I have planned to work on Rock Harbor the better part of the next two days. I hope to post pictures soon.
Best wishes for a Happy New Year to all.
